We’re here to spread a message and we want to do it in a way that is as accessible and inclusive as possible.
You’ll notice our products are priced differently than most stores — below cost. Yes, this means we lose money on every sale! That’s because our mission is not profit, we’re all about mainstreaming peace culture. By offering our products at low prices, we hope more people can connect with our values and wear their beliefs proudly!
Change shouldn’t be limited by price tags. The real value is in the message, and we want to make it as widely available as possible.
Every sale helps push the mission forward, but it DOES NOT cover the full cost of what we do.

Typically a $5 contribution will allow us to break-even on one item!
Are contributions tax-deductible?
No, contributions are not tax-deductible since Modern Peacenik is not a nonprofit organization.
Is Modern Peacenik a nonprofit?
Even though we will not be making a profit, we are not a registered nonprofit. We are proud to be grassroots-supported and we want to avoid the nonprofit tendency to cater to large donors (typically corporate) rather than focusing on the mission.
Where do the contributions go?
Your contribution helps to cover operational costs. This includes production costs, supporting our advocacy efforts, and keeping our products affordable. Absolutely 0% of your contribution will be profit.
What happens if people don't contribute?
If people don't contribute, we’ll keep going for as long as we can, but it may limit how much we’re able to grow and sustain our impact. Your support truly helps us keep the movement alive.
